The Documentary "Third Gender" focuses on the lifestyle of Hermaphrodite community and the social attitude towards them. This documentary deals with their happiness, sorrows, love, religious rituals, worship, livelihood, privations, grievances and so forth.
Naturally a Hermaphrodite child may be born in a family. Nobody is responsible for this. But For Only Popular shame that family places that child in an uncertain and dubious state. Should they be reared in a family as other children, the academic atmosphere be created for them, they can contribute to the cause of the country. This socciety is culpable for the fact that now they are leading a murky and uncertain life. With having no genitals they are okay in every respect.
The maker of this documentary has seen at close quarters the lifestyle of Hermaphrodites, mixed with them, known their matters of happiness and sorrows and researched on these for three years. Subsequently he has completed the making of this documentary in january 2009.
